Vue 7 - Digital Nature in Los Angeles
E-on software will be really proud to showcase key new features of the Vue 7 professional solutions, Vue 7 xStream and Vue 7 Infinite (scheduled for release later this year).

In short, xStream users will be VERY happy with Vue 7 xStream, which will offer them total and unprecedented integration between Vue and their preferred application.
Additionally, Vue 7 will feature a number of important new features, such as the 3rd generation of e-on’s patented EcoSystem ™ technology, as well as "Spectral 2" atmospheric engine, a new "Water Editor", a completely new indoor Radiosity engine and a lot more.
More information will be released at a later time. Vue 7 is scheduled for release for end 2008.

About the speakers:
Richard Schrand is a Vue instructor at the Nossi College of Art, and the author of the must-have "Vue 6 Revealed" book. Nicholas Pellegrino is a Vue instructor and founder of AsileFX. He is the author of over 20 Vue training DVDs.

Vue 3D Environment Competition Finalists Announced!
What an exciting Competition! We broke past year's record, big time! We were impressed by the overall quality of this year's submissions.
After much deliberation, the 12 finalists were chosen and it is now time for our friends at ILM, Digital Domain, Electronic Arts, LucasFilm Animation Singapore, Whiskytree, CG Architect, 3D Total and 3D World to select the winners, which will be announced on August 12, 2008.
Selecting 12 images from 425 varied and inspiring entries was no easy task for the Picture of the Day team! - Hence the slight delay in announcing the finalists.
We wish luck to our judges to select the 3 winners. We know it's going to be tough! ;)
